Aims
of the Nursery
1) To provide a happy, safe, secure and stimulating environment
in which learning is actively encouraged.
2) That through structured play, learning will be fun and will
provide basic skills for the future.
3) To create within the child a feeling of high self-esteem
which is the key to all happiness and learning.
4) To enhance the development and education of children under
statutory age, thereby ensuring that a well-adjusted child can
confidently step from the safe, secure and loving home environment
into that of nursery.
5) To help the child's all round development i.e. socially,
emotionally, morally, physically and intellectually.
6) To work within a framework which ensures of opportunity for
all children and families.
We offer your child:
- A specially tailored curriculum leading to approved early
learning goals as set out by Ofsted (Office of Standards
in Education)
- Individual care and attention made possible by a high
ratio of adults i.e. 1:4 (2 - 3yrs olds) 1:6 (3 to 4 yr
