| Staff |
|
Our Keyworker system gives
each member of staff particular responsibility, within
the learning groups, for a few children. This enables
the Keyworker to tailor the groups curriculum to the unique
needs of each individual child, and maintain links with
parents through record-keeping, to ensure that all children
are supported in reaching their full potential.
|
|
| The Role of the Keyworker |
|
| Keyworkers
will ensure that the needs of each child are recognised
within the group so that, within the overall curriculum
framework of the group, an individual curriculum or play
plan is devised to meet each child's specific needs. |

| Training |
|
Our
membership of the Preschool Learning Alliance ensures
that we are constantly in touch with new thinking in the
field of child education and care. We receive a monthly
magazine offering practical advice and up-to-date information
and have access to a range of professionally produced
publications.
In addition, ongoing training is available through preschool
Learning Alliance Courses, and informal training through
local meetings and conferences.
We would like to stress that your child's well being and
safety is our priority and a high staff ratio is maintained
at all times.
All staff are highly qualified, have a genuine love of
children and are deeply concerned with the welfare and
happiness of your child. They have been chosen for their
experience, caring attitude and understanding of small
children.

| Resources |
|
We are extremely fortunate
and proud to have an extensive range of resources within
the Nursery. These are carefully selected to ensure that
all the Early Learning Goals are achieved and to stimulate
each child's love of learning through play.
These items are changed on a daily basis in order to provide
the children with fresh, stimulating and challenging learning
experiences.
