| Starting Your Child |
Children will be given the opportunity
to attend the Nursery for a one hour visit prior to starting
the Nursery, which will be confirmed beforehand.
A child who is tense or unhappy will not be able to play
or learn properly, so it is important for parents and
nursery staff to work together to help the child to feel
confident and secure in the group. This takes longer for
some children than for others and parents should not feel
worried if their child takes a while to settle.

| Child Profile |
We want children to feel happy
and safe in the absence of their parents, we therefore
have flexible admission procedures. If you would like
to see our Settling - in policy please ask a member of
staff.
Parents wishing to register their child should request
a registration form and return it completed with the deposit
to the Nursery. Details of the password to be used by
authorised persons should be given.
* If your child needs a special "comfort" toy
or blanket, they are welcome to bring them to the Nursery.
Outdoor Clothes
To enable the children to make use of our excellent outdoor
facilities in all weather except rain and fog. Please
ensure your child has a coat/jacket and wellington boots
to change into. Boots should be placed in a separate bag
clearly marked with your childs name. |
